One-Day Seminar
K-12 Administrators and/or Teachers
Research shows that both bullies and
those regularly victimized are more likely to become
criminals. Since bullying in schools has an effect on
all students, schools need information and programs to
establish
preventive
measures. This one-day seminar looks
at the risk factors for bullies and offers practical
tips for administrators, teachers, parents, and students
to create a bully-free environment.
The six components of the workshop include:
- Research on bullying
- Why children bully
- Characteristics of victims
- What administrators can do
- Skill building for students
- A
school-wide
approach
