Chuck Weed, a veteran educational specialist, is the founder and president of Education 21. Chuck holds a master's degree in English and has teaching experience at the high school, community college, and university levels.

He retired as a Coordinator in the Curriculum and Instruction unit of the Capital Region BOCES in June 1995, when he and his staff moved into the Education 21 offices in Troy. Chuck enjoys the excitement of working outside of bureaucracy, as well as having offices with walls, windows, and doors and being able to respond to school needs in a timely fashion. He takes great pride in a competent staff of self-starters.
