A staff development program for developing teacher support staff to serve support and technical assistance functions in schools. Topics covered include:

• Role and responsibilities
• Learning is incremental
• Instruction with an objective in mind
• The instructional team: communication and planning
  

TAM purposes include:

• Build/maximize teacher support staff instructional teams towards increasing student achievement
• Maximize instructional resources for the teacher though classroom instructional strategies
• Maximize the teacher support staff knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide more efficient instructional resources in the classroom
• Develop instruction and classroom management to improve teacher support staff planning skills
